A brand new Route des Grands Crus awaits you!

On October 11, 2026, the Marathon des Grands Crus returns for its 7th edition. This unique event will take runners and skaters along the legendary Route des Grands Crus, in the heart of the golden vineyards of the Côte-d'Or. To celebrate its 90th anniversary, the iconic Route has been beautifully restored and is sparkling with a thousand lights!
A brand new coating
The first wine tourism route in France, the Route des Grands Crus de Bourgogne, will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2027 in grand style. To prepare for the anniversary of this 84 km route, which crosses 31 villages and especially 32 of the 33 grand crus that Burgundy has, the Department has undertaken renovation and beautification work.
Among the new developments that concern us, a brand new light-colored asphalt surface has been laid (or will be laid) on all sections outside the villages between Chambolle-Musigny and Marsannay . A truly smooth asphalt surface awaits you on October 11th!
And our skaters, in particular, are going to be thrilled. With a road like this, there are no more excuses for not speeding along!
A second youth
Village entrance signs, landscaping, information panels, safety improvements... the Route des Grands Crus will undergo a major makeover in the coming months. You can find the complete calendar of festivities related to the 90th anniversary onthe department's website .
