Hiking: a 100% rollerblading weekend
How ? You don't know how to spend your weekend of October 5 and 6? No worries, we've found you an (incredible) activity for a weekend in Dijon!
Hiker friends, put on your skates and go on an excursion for a 100% rollerblading stay! The capital of the Dukes welcomes you for 2 days of intensive skiing.
What is the program of the celebrations? To all the rollerblading fans, the enthusiasts who devour the kilometers as easily as Easter chocolates, you will be able to enjoy yourself.
SATURDAY OCTOBER 5
On Saturday October 5 afternoon, three hiking routes are offered in partnership with the Dijon Roller association which will supervise and lead the ride: 23km, 43km or 51km, the choice is yours!
The start will be shared and set for 2:30 p.m. at Allées du Parc, under the pink finish arch of the event.
The three courses are round trip and have a common part. You will discover Western Dijon, the beautiful and green Ouche valley while skating along the Burgundy canal, on the greenway, an essential place for roller skating in Dijon . All of the routes have a flat profile and do not present any particular technical difficulties. Level groups could be considered under the leadership of Dijon Roller. A refreshment area will be offered in Plombières-les-Dijon, halfway through the 23km.
Registration for the Saturday afternoon hike is free but mandatory. So take advantage of the opportunity to discover the surroundings of Dijon in good company and motivate your friends! More the merrier, the merrier.
The hike is also open to minors accompanied by an adult.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 6
On Sunday October 6, we're back on track (we told you you were signing up for a 100% rollerblading weekend!).
The Marathon des Grands Crus event will be in full swing with the 23 km of the Route des Grands Crus, departing from Chambolle-Musigny. If some prefer it in the competition version, it has been open since last year in hiking mode so they can enjoy it even more! This is a unique opportunity to take the time to admire the exceptional landscapes of the Route des Grands Crus, entirely closed to traffic and secured for the occasion.
The Sunday afternoon hike crosses many wine-growing villages on the coast which take part in this great roller skating festival to the rhythm of music and on-site entertainment . To contribute to folklore, we invite you to put on your best disguise and arm yourself with your best smile! A prize for the best disguise will be awarded at the end of the hike.
The Marathon des Grands Crus is an ideal event for a weekend with friends during which combine sport, shared tourism and... tasting! Obviously, what would Burgundy be without its local specialties? Thanks to the Marathon menu , you can taste a host of local dishes and their wines throughout the 23km route. Each refueling has its own specialty!
