In the heart of the climates of the Burgundy vineyards, along the route des Grands Crus, you can admire the Château du Clos de Vougeot, partner of our event for this new edition.
The site no longer produces wine today but remains a strong symbol of Burgundy's history. It will also be part of the history of the Marathon des Grands Crus as it will host the finish of the half marathon run! What a fabulous setting for our runners!
Built in the 12th century and classified as a historical monument since 1949, the château is the head of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin and the headquarters of the Climats du Vignoble. It can be visited all year round and will of course be open to visitors on the weekend of the event, so don't hesitate to be curious and push open the doors of the château to discover part of the Côte d'Or wine world!
The Château du Clos de Vougeot also has some surprises in store for the winners of the events! Be there!
